Tamarra's Stamping Spot

2 years later......

I am still making the same thing for Birthday gifts. Now mind you when I started this for my daughter 2 years ago the 7th of Feb. I never expected it to be such a BIG hit. My younger daughter, Christia, LOVES cooking and has since she was very young (obviously take after her dad in that). So for her 4th birthday one of the gifts we gave her was a Heart Shaped Cupcake tray, some icing and cake mix. I stamped the the packaging to be all in Hearts, she loved it as did all the little girls at the party. So since then I have been making them for all my daughters friends for their Birthdays. It has gone so far as when my girls ask what the Birthday girl wants for their birthday they say answer "the cupcake things". Now over the 2 years they have definitely gotten cuter in the packaging especially when SU! brought out the Crazy for Cupcakes set. So since I think everyone of my daughters friends has received one for a party I figured it was time to share them....lol.

So on Thursday night I started stamping all the Belly bands and pick to go in the package but while I was sitting there deciding on how to do this ones bag I decided to try something different then what I had in the past, but that is where I got stuck until Friday morning when Andera posted a class she has and the bag for the cards is a Cupcake! How totally cute I thought so I made it in a larger scale, big enough to hold the gift. And here is what I came up with......

Stamp Sets: Crazy for Cupcakes

Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink and Rose Red

Inks: Regal Rose

Accessories: 1 1/4 circle punch, sponge, 2-way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds, white gel pen, crimper and cloud stencil (retired)

So whats inside it you ask?? Well all the supplies to make cupcakes of course........

Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Whisper White

Inks: Basic Black, Regal Rose SWM, Close to Cocoa SWM, Pretty in Pink SWM and Bliss Blue SWM

Accessories: Regal Rose Grosgrain, medium cello bags, 2-way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Scallop Punch, 1 1/4 inch Circle punch, Small heart Punch (Martha Stewart), Dimenisionals, sticky strip and tooth picks.

Oh for those of you who were wondering, my USB port had slipped out of place so my husband fixed it for me last night.

I know it is hard to believe. I was actually going to share with you a gift bag I made today for a Birthday party tomorrow, but I my camera and computer are having a disagreement. Hopefully my husband will fix it for me in the morning before he leaves for work. Anyway, I have another card I was going to share with you with a tutorial but the tutorial is on the camera too...... So I will show the card to you know and hopefully this weekend I will be able to share the tutorial. This card was inspired by a card I saw somewhere. If I remember right the card was pink and green with little flowers. Wish I could remember where it was so you could see it too. Anyway, on to the card.

Are you sitting down???

I'm back... I think, hopefully! Sorry it has been so long. First we had the holidays with family over for a couple of weeks and then school started back up, then one person after another sick in the house, and then just last week Girl Scout Cookie season began. I am our Neighborhood's Cookie Chair which means I needed to learn the new computer system for it, and answer all the questions that have come along with it from the leaders in our Neighborhood.  Anyway, hopefully things will calm down some soon. Next week is my younger Daughter's Birthday (Feb 7th) so this weekend I stamped out her invites. I am also working on the decorations and stuff to go with it. She wantsa Cupcake Birthday! Now how cool is that. If there is anything I own it's cupcake stamps. I love cupcakes they are just so cute! The main reason she wanted cupcakes is because I have the Jumbo Cupcake cake pan and she wants to be the first in the family to get a Jumbo Cupcake cake. She also wants everyone to decorate their own cupcake at the party. Kindergartner's decorating cupcakes....Yikes! Good thing I have a clean garage....LOL
